Making Memories ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're having a beautiful week so far!

I have another card to show you using Lili of the Valley's "Bonfire" image which is ready for sale at LOTV's webstore along with the cutie "Halloween" stamp too!  :)

I made it verrrrrrry clean and simple .. and decided to put on a couple pearls at the last minute.  ;)  This image reminds me of how much I used to love camping and roughing in the outdoors when I was younger.  But if you ask me to go camping now .. I will insist on having a nice cabin with running water, beds, baths, kitchen, etc .. LOL!

I've coloured with Distress Reinkers, Prisma Pencils and Watercolor .. and of course outlined in white.  hehehehe!  :)

Please don't forget to visit my beautiful DT sisters on their personal blogs as well as on the LOTV Inspirational Blog to see their gorgeous creations!

Silent Night ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you're having a fabulous week so far!

Well, my little Bodhi has gone back to school on Monday .. and let me tell you .. I am not a happy camper!  lol!  The Summer flew by too quick .. I feel like we needed another 3 more months .. and let's face it .. I love hanging out with this little dude.  :)

My family will be surprising Bodhi once again by flying into town today .. and I can't wait to see the look on his face when he finds them!!!

Last year, my family all hid in my car in the garage, and I asked Bodhi to please get my purse from the car.  And he says, "But Mommy, your purse is right here."  OMG .. the ONE time he pays attention to details right?!  lol!  So I said, "Ooooh no!  I meant my wallet!"  When Bodhi opened the car door .. ooooh he was soooooo HAPPY!  So hmmmm .. where shall they hide this year?!  ;)

Anyway, I've has a play with this darling LOTV image called "Christmas Light" along with the Silent Night sentiment from "Set 75 - Christmas Wishes".  I've also stamped some words and musical notes on the side of the image from "Set 77 - Everyday Recipes" (from the Silent Night recipe card) and also "Set 55 - Vintage Backs" (Musical Sheet).

Well, thank you so very much for visiting me .. I truly love it when you do!  I'll see you again soon!

ps .. wishing you all a most BEAUTIFUL week!

Elise

Let It Snow ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you're all ready for your weekend once again!  :)

I have another darling LOTV image that I've played with .. this sweet penguin is from the image "Snow Flurries".  Then I've used a sentiment from Set 75 Christmas Wishes at the bottom of the image frame and stamped some random snowflakes from Set 36 Christmas Icons.  The papers are from Snow Princess Solids and Snow Princess (but that red/white strip down the middle is from my own stash).

I am once again grateful to be able to use lovely goodies from the Ribbon Girl such as:
Blue Velvet Lace, Butterfly Lace, Seam Binding, Cheesecloth, White Roses
They are currently on holiday until the afternoon of Sunday Aug. 23rd, 2014.

Peace & Joy ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I have another Christmas card to show you using one of Lili of the Valley's newest darling release.  This sweet girl is called "Jolly Holly" and I've also used a "Peace & Joy" sentiment from Set 75 -Christmas Wishes (which will be back in stock on Aug. 14th).  The papers are from "Woodland Wishes".

I've coloured her with Distress Reinkers and Watercolors .. and outlined her with my white Sakura Gel Pen.  Some of you have asked how I do this .. and you'll find it very easy and simple!  :)

1.  Stamp your image (I personally use black Memories Dye Ink to use with my Distress Inks).
2.  Then I color everything as normal.
3.  If you use a spray sealer, go ahead and spray after you color.
4.  LAST STEP is to outline with your white pen.  I like to leave little hints of black lines here and there .. but it's all your preference on how you'd like to show your lines.  :)

I'm so grateful to also have the pleasure of using some beautiful Ribbon Girl goodies such as:

I hope you have all treated yourself to some new LOTV treats!  Don't forget shipping for all stamps are FREE!  :)  Can't beat that!!!

As always, don't forget to visit my beautiful DT Sisters on their personal blogs as well as on LOTV's Inspirataional Blog for their gorgeous creations!!!

Sing It Baby!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all had a beautiful weekend!

Have you all got your fill of the newest Lili of the Valley release?  They are so GORGEOUS aren't they?!  I can't even begin to tell you how much I love each and every single one of them!

I've made a card with "Set 76 Christmas Carols" along with some beautiful "Woodland Wishes" paper.  I wanted the recipe cards to look like a Christmas Song Book, and those die cuts are Tim Holtz Alteration Dies.  The man playing the violin was lightly covered with Distress Inks and then I misted him with some water so it would have a slightly ruddy look, then melted Frantage on him.

Now the water misting .. I thank my LOTV DT sister Kathy for re-awakening that for me as it was used on her Father's Day Card.  Kathy and I have a good laugh about a lot of our projects because sometimes we do things that one another has done at the SAME time .. and we joke about us being in "one another's heads" often.  hehe!  Heck, I don't mind having a seat in her creative mind as I absolutely LOVE her work!!  ;)
